The HOP Academy

Online Learning

We provide a series of courses that are designed with your HOP development in mind. These are self-guided online delivery with a mixture of face-to-camera, small assessments and reflective activities to make the learning stick.  

These courses cover topics core to HOP and Investigations such as the 5 Principles of HOP, non-technical skills, human factors principles, human error and error-producing conditions, Just Culture, psychological safety and many more. 

The courses are designed to be completed in a day or two and last between 30 minutes and 3 hours. All will have a certificate of completion which can be used for self-certified CPD if needed.

Blended Learning

Blended learning is the term used when we provide a mixture of online learning, virtual classroom and reflective exercises. The goal is to give you the knowledge ahead of the virtual classroom so that we can spend more time developing your skills in the remote, virtually-delivered classroom.

These courses are normally more intensive with detailed analysis and exercises. Examples include HOP-focused Investigations or Learning Teams or HOP Strategy Development and Deployment.

These courses make use of the HOP Academy as well as Zoom or Teams. We prefer Zoom as it allows easier use of interactive sessions via breakout rooms. 

Face-to-Face

Paradigm Human Performance started in training and consultancy in the face-to-face environment and when COVID-19 restrictions are raised, we'll be back!

We provide training that covers the full range of our knowledge, from Executive development sessions to front-line supervisors and operators.

We are the UK and US licence holder for GemaSim, a high-performance team development tool, along with multiple psychometric and team development tools like SDI, PCM, MBTI and RQi.

All of our face-to-face training is supported by the HOP Academy when it comes to knowledge development.
